People have real nerves telling someone how to treat their own bodies...make suggestions, yes, but never demands.

I agree that Sasori should find a different profession...one that better suits him. Those people need help and guidance and teachings...not anger, belittling and resentment.

IMO, we need to focus on the bigger picture and its not abortions...its the pregnancies. We should try to find ways to better educate Black people on being responsible. We should also teach them how to be parents capable of creating intelligent and positive children.

Should they be banned altogether? No. The reasons have been stated (rape, incest, deformity, health risks) why I say no. However:

Should abortion be used as a means of birth control? Absolutely not. I agree. We need to make better choices. Some of us easily say "oh, the condom broke, don't worry, if anything happens, I can take care of it." Or even worse, the BROTHA decides he's not ready to play "daddy" so he pays for his girl to "get it fixed" or orders her to, threatening her. Then she's faced with having a baby that's at least partially unwanted and/or being alone and struggling. We say "she can always give the baby up for adoption" but the numbers prove that black and brown babies suffer in the foster care system. It always amazes me that people can travel halfway around the world to adopt a "needy" child, but are unable to even see the black and brown children in their own cities.

Abortion should be left up to the woman. We may not agree w/ it personally, which is why you do what you have to do, and so goes the same for the other person. If you don't agree with abortion, then your going to take care of whats yours no matter what. For someone else, it may not be the right time for them to have a baby, so they choose abortion.

Abortion has to be the woman's choice. We cannot determine who or why someone shouldnt have an abortion, when we aren't walking a day in their shoes. I had a D&C 14 years ago after a miscarriage, so i also agree that those stats aren't showing a true reflection on abortions.

I understand your frustration though because I, too, share it. Like others here, my position is that of SOME women, regardless of age, are just plain lazy. They will have sexcapades, yet refuse to use SOME form of birth control, adopt a a "que, sera, sera" (Whatever will be, will be) mentality and will NOT take responsibility for their sexual behavior. Sure, we can blame the MALE for the emotional trauma that many women experience in aborting, but blame is not where the focus should lie. For no matter how many "educators" may implore males to buckle up stud? The PERCEPTION remains that as women that we ARE responsible for OUR bodies. And if we are all REALLY being honest here, we ALL know someone with a mentality like this, "Oh I can always flush it down the tubes." Wrong! But that is just SAMOON'S opinion, I do not and I will not thrust my opinion on anyone's throat. Like you, I have seen the horrendous side of aborting a fetus as well. And the birth rate for black women HAS lessened over scores of years now. Personally, I want to see our race continue to populate and not have our women feed into the abortion clinics that are strategically placed in the urban arena and low-socio economic areas. Funny....the "Morals Squad" will take a defensive position on aborting, but how many of these "other" ethnicities, including the men marching around carrying placards will ADOPT a BLACK infant? I surmise that is when "morality" exits---->right. Yet will advocate capital punishment, etc. This is a paradox in it's truest sense.

The white populace IS decreasing (for the Latin and Asian groups WILL surpass them in numbers for the forth-coming years) and why many white cave-men"are more than ever, actually opposing abortion in addition to garnering more power and money. There's is reason for it all and I believe that it should be your choice whether you want to bring a child into this world or not....that being said,

I think there should be a limit to the amount one person can get, whether it's certain number per lifetime or in a single year. No one person should have more than *lets say 10 on the "record"*

GOOD POST! I do understand i get really hot on subjects like these, and need to calm down sometimes, but abortion has always been a touchy issue with me, and especially after seeing the numbers i've seen.....it just gets to me!
