I would be very reluctant and probably say "no". If the "friend" is gay, then it would seem that you have to treat it the same as a "boy/girl" situation. They'll be none of that in my home.

As the parent, you don't have to accept, their inappropriate behavior. As a matter of fact, If I ever got wind of that, my kids would not be allowed to be around those kids anymore. Of course I can only control so much.

First of all, let me honest, I am not comfortable with homosexuality. I don't think its the natural order intended. However, if a person chooses that lifestyle, then so be it. As long as its not in my house. I don't care what age they are. I have a homosexual step-brother and he and his partner could never sleep in the same bed in my house. They could visit, but if they had to sleep together, then that's why there are plenty of hotels. Thankfully, we are not that close so it will probably never be a bridge I would have to cross.

Secondly, for a parent to even consider allowing it is poor parenting in my opinion and condoning not only premarital sex between teenagers, but the homosexuality as well.

I don't care what the child's sexuality is, a real parent should not allow that child's so-called partner to sleep in their bedroom. And only under drastic conditions would I allow them to sleep in my home. I would not open the door and contribute to giving my child the opportunity to participate in sex. If they are determined to participate, then they'd figure out somewhere else to do it.

To allow it is to grant permission for a child to disrepect not only themselves, but the parents and everyone else in that household. What is happening to our morals and values?
