How would you handle the situation if your child was a bully/troublemaker - picking on other children at school and stuff?

I would probably have whoever he is picking on...beat him up....or just whoop there behind myself......... ...no but seriously I would probably have a serious talk with them....most children who are bulllies have other things that they are dealing with and they use bullying as a way to handle their problems so counseling or boxing lessons would be the route for me...try to find constructive ways for them to deal with their anger....

Whoop his/her ***, because that's not what they should be doing. I guess it's a good thing that I don't have any kids yet, my form of parenting might seem a little......harsh to some.

Bullies generally have things going on in their life that have nothing to do with the children or teachers they terrorize. They deal with their issues by taking them out on others. Also, bullies can be mean spirited because they are spoiled. Many parents may be surprised that their children are bullies but like many parents raising children, they are clueless.
As far as dealing with them, I would simply give them some "encouragement" with a belt, switch or something that will "bully" them.

I would whip his bee-hind first. Then I would sit down and try to figure out what is going on with him besides wanting his way and to control others. Lastly, I would try to find a way to make him understand what his actions does to others and how it makes them feel.

Well my son briefly had that problem. He's bigger than the rest of the kids his age so I guess he was flexing his so called muscles. What I did was bully him. I started pushing him around like yeah what up punk what you gone do, pushed him down, into walls. After he's crying like a baby I said you see how you feeling right now, that's how the kids you doing that to feel. After that no problems.

Some of yall say that if your child was being bullyed yall would beat up the person that was messing with your child.
HA....yeah I would like to see that and see yall butt in jail and being sued.
Anyways since it happened on the school property I would take it up with the principle and demand to speak with the child parents so that I can explain to them what their child is doing and how it is affecting my child. If that don twork then Ill take it to the NEXT level, perhaps threaten to sue not only the school, but the parent as well for emotional distress.

First I would go to a place where I couldn't be seen by my son and celebrate!! Now before you come down on me let me explain. My son would rather give you a hug or pick flowers for his mom over giving someone a "good one" for messin' with him!! A little fistacuffs would do him good!!
Then I would do want bruh Gumbo suggested!

err...diamond, thats not what they are saying. but anyway, i'm agreeing with poet, he just about summed it up when he explained that bullys are looking for attention when they start trouble. and i agree with the others when it comes to DISCIPLINING that ahzz. my kids will have to deal with me if they decide to become bullies.

If my son is being bullyed at school he better come to me with some black eyes and busted lips before I'll feel sorry for him. I've told him I can't protect you and you can be a punk and cry to the teacher but in the end they don't really care either. I teach him you don't bother nobody but you don't let nobody put they hands on you without fighting back even if you get your butt whooped, don't care if he's bigger and stronger he better not back down. If it continues after he's defended himself then I will get involved and me and the parent will have to have a talk and if it continues me and the parent finna come to blows.
