I realize kids will be kids, but that is something I will not tolerate. I don't think we think enough about how some things said, whether it's for a laugh or not, effect other people and their feelings. As kids, maybe they don't get the full picture, but as parents I do not think we should condone it either and say "they're just kids".

As hard as it may be with outside influences, I hope to set a good example for my child from day 1. A good enough example for my child to not leave my house acting like he/she knows no better, be it 8 or 18.

If I found out my child was a bully.. it would get dealt with thoroughly.
