yes there is a difference in the parenting styles of all ethic groups. You have your good you have your styles. But I still say till this day there is no way in this world or the next that a child of mine could have build a bomb or had guns and I did not know about it. Meaning those kids, those trench coat kids. To have all that stuff and I am in the same house with them. It is not just white kids that have gone crazy the black have lose there minds. i agree!...i've seen some disrespectful white kids in my day,thinking...man it that was my child!...as i told my kids and said it in front of their friends...i'm NOT your friend...but i'm there for you whenever you need to talk.i know a few sistas who trys to be friends with their especially daugther.one sista hangs out with her teen and friends always out doors turning flips with the kids,hitting on some of the guy(tag,you're it style).those are teens,she should have been in the house with her hubby.because of the poor raising her and their father does...both teen are allowed to go over to boys homes,(having sex) the parents even let one of their daugthers boyfriend stay with her and sleep in her bed,the girl's now pregnant and the mom is mad at her,go figure!(my daugther tells me most of this stuff,her friends).the sista at one point came on my porch trying to be friends with my daugther...i stopped that,telling her my child is a teen,and not to speak to my child unless she's saying hi,talking to my daugther anymore about things that don't apply to her...will only cause problems...for her,(the woman)(she tried to explain to my daugther she wasn't sexing a 17 as her daugther had spread in school.my other daugther told me of how in school a teacher called a parent because the child was showing a sex tape she stoled from her home.when the parent got there she was like ...what's this about a tape? when she seen the tape.my daugther said the woman said...."there's my tape!..i was looking for it!" the teacher stared in disbelief,the woman said i'll see you at home.when she left the girls said..."see!..i told you my moma ain't gonna do nothing"the teacher then said that couldn't been my child. so it's not always the white kids who seem to get away with so much.
