Children and bathing on a colds winter morning?????
One of my co-workers told me that i was wrong for not letting my children take showers in the morning on a cold winters morning
My children take a bath or shower ( which ever one floats their boats) at 7 or 7:30pm each night and they go straight to bed at 8pm. I have them brush their teeth and we say our prayers together and they go to bed. I figure that they are clean enough in the morning to wash their face and brush their teeth and get ready for school. They are only five and six nobody is having sex or sweaty from the night to the morning. Anyway i wanted to get comments on this matter i dont think that i am wrong because its too cold to give them a bath in the morning and my children are sick less often. They are not dirty they are actually very clean because all they did was sleep. but anyway my coworker makes her three year old take a bath and he always have a runny nose
holla at me and tell me what you think am i wrong or what if i am i will surely change but we had a big argument about it and i would like to know

I have 2 daughters & 2 sons, 3 of my children are in school. My sons takes their baths before bedtime...My daughter prefers to take a shower in the morning. I work 7pm to 7am & my husband works in the morning. To be honest, trying to bath everybody in the morning & get them to school on time would be even more work...so the more thats done at night...the happier everyone will be in the morning ;). . .Which ever way you swing it, it's ok. But some people do manage to get everything done in the AM, more power to them.
But to answer your question,
No, you are not wrong for bathing your kids @ night...
...& its ok if she wants to bath her son in the morning
Some like it HOT & some like it COLD

What the family said.. There's nothing wrong with a shower/bath in the p.m. Heck!! My 8 yr old takes his shower at night too!!
Some White folks let their kids take showers in the morning and half of them leave out of the house with no coat on. And a lot of times, I've even seen 'em walking around in 30 degree temps with no shoes on their feet outside.
So You're safe. :)

They also let them walk outta the house with wet hair. That's why lil Johnny and Susie have colds all the time. My son takes a shower at night and washes up most morning. Once in a blue moon he will take a shower in the morning. But he's good and dry by the time he leaves for school in the morning.

My son is 13 and I make him take his shower at night too, instead of in the morning.

i never seen a problem with taking a shower at night... It was always easier to get ready for school when you got it over with at night. My son takes a bath every night, id have to wake up 2 hrs early to give him a bath, then get ready for work. I usually leave when hes asleep anyway...lol its easier that way for the both of us...lol And as for wet hair... my friend used to come to school like that...shed take her shower and have to wait for the bus with wet hair...A couple times when it was cold... she had ice in it...Im like wtf....shed simply say "cold doesnt make you sick, germs do" I just laughed and shook my head....

This lady is just smelling her own boo-boo
I'd be willing to bet she would have never known your children had not taken a bath in the mornings had you not have told her.
Tell her to get a grip!
In a nice christian way of course ;)
