Graduate ,Claire Dunne from London , England designed a wristband "Brillant " that would stop drug errors .
The wristband has a chip in it ,2 tiny LCD screens & sensor technology.
The chip stores data about patient & their medications including the type of medication and the correct dose.
The wristband communicates with another chipon the medicine on the medicine packaging using sensor technology.
Information about wheter the correct dose & drugs being administered appears on the wristband screens and alerts nurses or doctors if there is an error.
Once patient is discharged from the hospital the information can be uploaded to a central database. The data is wiped clean from the wristband & can be filled to a new patient.
