A Tennessee newspaper reported that the Better Business Bureau (BBB) received a request from the FBI for records on StormPay, an online payment service. The Leaf-Chronicle newspaper said on Saturday that the Consumer Affairs division of the state Department of Commerce and Insurance are conducting an investigation of StormPay (

On Friday, the Wall Street Journal had reported on a dispute between StormPay and a website called 12dailyPro, which the Journal says is being investigated by federal and state authorities as possible Internet-era variations on a classic Ponzi scheme. (

On Friday, the UK website Netcraft reported that StormPay was the victim of a distributed denial of service attack (DDoS). "The company, which provides online payment processing for thousands of e-commerce web sites, came back online Friday after a sustained attack that commenced last weekend" (

Now my PHO:
StormPay deliberately tried to blackmail some of their highest paying Autosurf sites to allow only THEIR payment processors...
My advice: Just be aware of ANY and EVERY mode of business you operate on the internet. Autosurf sites are lucrative for some, but are not for everyone, nevertheless, USE YOUR HEAD, and if you choose to, INVEST WISELY!
