Nvidia is the worlds No.1 Video Graphics chips manufacturer. They have been leading the industry for a good 5 years now, with ATI close on their heels.
Nvidia's first graphics chips for consoles showed up in Microsoft's Xbox systems. Nvidia and Microsoft have since then fell out over financial discrepancies, opening up an opportunity for Sony to move in and seize the day. Well, they did. This new alliance could mean death to the Xbox and Nintendo console systems as the PS3 is promising to be the most advance console gaming system ever. And more importantly, the Xbox loses it's trup card it had over the PlayStation; better graphics. With the Playstation 3 having more game support and clearly superior graphics engine, the XBox will be in for some serious trouble.
