Anyone receive those pop ups and advertisements that tell you that you have been selected to receive a free ipod, labtop or whatever? I've received a few of them, but I always delete them because I trust nothing. I want to know if anyone here as taken advantage of these offers and filled out your personal information? Did you get your free gift? Were there any catches?

I'm like you Chelbe, I always delete them. Cant trust it at all. You'll usually ending signing up for some service that you dont need and paying monthly on it and in the end... you'll end up paying twice what that damn IPOD was worth anyway.

I rarely get pop ups. I have always hated them so I use pop up blocking software. I would not trust them anyway.

Phishing, Scams or adware/spywere ALL OF IT
Now it DO trust website contests
I won ipod from Goowy Mail & and it came about a week after i received my winning letter from the Support team at Goowy.com now they are giving away PSP's

All I had to do was follow the steps (look at the image)
