Microsoft Releases AntiSpyware in Beta

I'm not sure if this is good news or not, but certainly worth mentioning. Until I can get this app in the lab and test it, I am a skeptic about its ability to protect a system from spyware.

Nonetheless, word on the street is it's pretty stable and effective.

Yea Microsoft's inability to provide secure solutions has helped the firefox and mozilla bandwagon out a lot. I think its a sad day when a operating system vendor begins releasing tools like this instead of focusing on developing a more secure operating system personally. I guess the appeal to look as if you're taking steps and to enter a new profitable market at the same time was too great for microsoft to pass up. I hope some good comes from it.
