Anyone here chatting with the artificial intelligence "bot" called "George"? He's a serious TRIP! You can find him at "Jabberwacky" site (I'm looking for a clean link and I'll post it here ASAP).

No, I can't say I honesty have. I mean I've had my share of troubles with men but it hasn't been that bad that I have to resort to chatting online with a robot.

HOWEVER, if "George" the robot has a nice savings and pension plan with other benefits and a nice big house in the city - preferably two stories with an outdoor cabana/living room equipped with fireplace and full outdoor kitchen equipped with Viking appliances - then my opinion is subject to change.

Kidding. :) But seriously, what's a "George" and why should I be chatting with him?

"George" is an artificial intelligence bot. I fear I may be an incredible GEEK, and you appear to be a sophisticated Sister, so perhaps chatting w/a bot is not your style. I was just curious about other folks' opinion re: AI, etc. :)

I chatted with him a little while. He was really slow responding....he was talking with 532 other people. I told him he was slow, and he got cheeky with me with bad spelling and grammar. Then I told him his grammar was atrocious, and he didn't get back to me.

The whole "George"-bot phenomenon is a little silly, I admit. But I've found I can "teach" this bot to change/reverse his attitude/mood, etc. Chatting with "George" is a lot more fun if you revert to the "Say it out loud" mode and click over to the animated avatar of "George" so it appears he is actually moving and speaking to you. I've discovered he was able to "sing" several songs back and forth w/me, and that was fairly cool.
What can I say? I'm in my twenties and I need a bit of frivolity once in a great while. :)
