That's interesting. I've never heard a black Republican say they did not want to be referred to as
“black”. I'm not defending them by any means but I've never heard any of them say this before.
Do you have any names? Details please..... And as far as so-called bi-racial people are concerned, I think you are making an unfair and very misleading generalization. I grew up with a number of bi-racial people and I currently know a fair number now. I have never heard any of them refer to themselves as anything other than black. Yes, I've heard about those during the last national census, who desired a multiracial (sic) categorization. But I think they are a minority and in no way represent the majority of bi-racial (one black parent) people.
You seem to be making, once again, some very misleading generalizations that cannot be substantiated.
