I've made quite a few posts though, but what about the folks who aren't as gung-ho as I am? Some people are shy, and might need to feel the board and it's members out first. At AO we call them Lookie Lous. They mean you no harm they just like to lurk around and mostly read.

Im just saying, isn't there a possibility that everybody here who doesn't post isn't here for an ulterior motive? I know you said you have ways of knowing but how can you be sure?

Not trying to start any trouble, but just asking.

MsMellow, I am glad someone asked this question. I won't delete someone account just because they are not posting. I have built at least a dozen boards, and I have gotten pretty good at spotting parasites. Without giving hints to my techniques, let's just say that those who never intend on posting, but only want to 'spy', act totally different from users that are honest browsers. So rest assured, no innocent accounts will be affected.
'lookie lous' as you described them will not be affected by this.

But it has to be done. Because people need to know that AfroChat is not about the drama, and will not be apart of the immaturity and the hate. And people that walk around in your yard peeping in windows, but never want to knock on the door and greet themselves are undeserving of your hospitality and a community such as AfroChat.

So, I don't mean to offend or alarm anyone. I'm just doing all that I can to protect this community from outside negative influences, while allowing those who sincerely wish to be a part of this do so. See, I learn from the mistakes of other online-communities.

As you should, and don't get me wrong Im not knocking your methods, It's just that I would hate to see an innocent person get dubbed as a parasite when that's not the case. Do what you have to do though, I know you got this. I wasn't offended or alarmed I was just throwing that out there. Im not big on drama at all, so I feel you, believe that. You know I likes to keep it mellow. :)

I have recieved a warning about 'personally attacking' because of my post about the disruptions of 'women or 'some women'.

Apparently my criticism of the behavior of 'some women' on this board.

Nobody gets warned for saying some black men are not good fathers.

Nobody gets warned for saying some blackmen are not taking care of their children.

Nobody gets warned for saying some black teens are selling crack.

Nobody gets warned for saying black people aren't doing to well.

But there are warnings for saying:

some women are being disruptive?

Aren't there blackmen on this board? Why is it they can have personal attacks said about them in general, with the qualifier of 'some' [which I also used] but nobody is warned about saying those things?

Because the person you are claiming I attacked is just the general category of "women" more specifically "some women".

It seems to me that to be consistent, statements that use the term 'some women' are no more an attack than posts that use the term 'some blackmen'?

So on every post that names "blackmen" or "some blackmen" like in the above examples, are those people also warned?

What is the policy that protects the sensibility's of women but not men?

Are women but not men being protected here from having to read these criticism out of some form of sexist chivalry i.e are women too sensitive to hear criticism?

Or am I missing the reason for the different treatment among the sexes here?

*I had to ask my question here because the 'Afrocop' who sent me the warning does not accept return mail.

Respectfully awaiting your correction. Thank you in advance.
