I just wanted to announce a change in how the Male and Female forums will be managed.
The staff had decided that the entire board should not be impacted by the actions of a few. Makes sense to me. So as a result of our discussion we've decided that due to the actions of a few residents recently, we've decided to take the following actions:
- Any resident found to violate any rules regarding these forums will be banned from both gender specific forums.
- Any resident that takes content or segment of discussion from the private forums into the public forums will be banned from both gender specific forums.
Rule #2 has to be stressed here, because some residents have proven that they cannot handle the privately expressed opinions of another resident, and feel, as a result, they must attack that individual and/or his/her private views in the open.
If someone is disrepectful, report the post. Please don't get into negative exchanges with fellow residents. It only fuels the fire.
If you don't like the opinion of someone, put them on
ignore. It's a powerful feature, yet those who are so offended by the opinions of another chose
NOT to use the
ignore feature and choose
TO continue reading and exchanging negativity with that resident.
