This morning, 15 accounts awaiting email activation, more than 30 days old were purged from our database.

Where other boards keep dead accounts so their membership level appears much higher, we routinely remove unactivated accounts from our database.

Unactivated Acccount:
An account that has been registered, but the user failed to complete the final phase by clicking the activation email required to anable the account.

I think thats a great idea because i noticed lots of site have so many members that dont even visit the site not even one post

some keep those members that don't ever post...to make it look like their board is more active than it really is
