I must say James, when I first read this post, I giggled. I giggled because this is a statement I may make with my family and/or friends as we're speaking of race, etc. Something I may say, but I've never really pondered or given serious thought.

I don't think I've made a conscious effort of not speaking to white people. I have my issues with them, so I go to work, do my thing, and leave. I don't make it a point to speak to, or to not speak to, while folk. I just do me, and whatever happens, happens.

Then sometimes I feel like I shouldn't judge but rather see people like Jesus saw people, as people, not as colors/races. I think that is where I fall short as a Christian, so I'm working on it.

Only time will tell......
