I have been using coupons for years. When I get the Sunday paper, I check the Walgreens paper to see if there's anything I'd like to purchase for the week. Then, I'll check to see if there is a coupon from the manufacturer. Would you believe that I have purchased toothpaste and used a coupon and also ended up getting it free after a rebate? I've done this several times.
I've also used manufacturers coupons toward the purchase of batteries and single use cameras and film. If you're not already participating in the rebate savers program that Walgreens offers, I'd like to suggest that you start. If you choose the gift card option, they'll give you a 10% bonus.
Recently, I purchased a double pack of Fuji single use cameras from Walgreens. I received 2 coupons from Walgreens good for $4.00 off 1 hour photo processing.
Coupons are used in the grocery store too.
