I heard you Jimihaze.

Clearly, human-induced global warming is real. Climate change is a huge problem, as it threatens our health, farms, forest, lakes, and animals. Western policy makers, corporations, and bureaucrats are consumed with greed, power, and living in the now.

I wouldn't doubt that most of these people are already in midlife to elder in age, and are not genuinely concerned about the future of the planet. They are concern about living it up NOW. If burning of fossil fuels, pumping oils into the seas, and deforestation will get them more money and power that’s exactly what they will continue to do.

For westerner’s it’s about preserving a lifestyle at any cost. But there will be no life if we don’t take care of the planet. People tend to want to write this stuff off like it’s so distant or unlikely. But I’m sure the Tsunami, mudslide, flow, and drought victims would attest to its realness.

That is why it behooves the young generation to be concern and to take action by voting environmental unconscious politicians out of office, and not supporting corporations that pollute our planet. But that will call for some sacrifice of which most people will not do because they don't see the seriousness of it. Yet.
