If you really want to know why people here feel the way they do, use our search feature and enter "obama" and "uncletom". You will find alot of posts on the issue; many from me. And if you find something you think is wrong, respectfully challenge it. Nothing wrong with passionate debate on the issue.

Far as I know McCain never called me a "N", so I'm not hurt by him insulting vietnamese. That's for the vietnamese to address. And while I hate wars, especially unjust wars, I can't help but respect a man's ability to survive horrendous conditions and return to his country to live a life of public service. I can appreciate the power of the human condition. That being said, I think McCain is borderline crazy. But at least I know he's a man of courage and is by no means a modern day conservative. He's paid a personal price that he's still living with to this day. Would anybody hear wish prison camps on their worst enemy?

Obama has just got far too too many negatives. These are facts, not fiction. From the inexperience, to the hypocrisy, to the lies, to the special interest distortions, to his piss poor record on voting (worse in senate right now), his abandonment of most black civil right organizations and leaders, his forsaking of close associates and friends at any whim of controversy, it just goes on and on.

I understand the intoxicating lure of hope and change, but there has to be evidence of that in someone in order for others to intelligently expect or even dream of those wishes to come to fruition. History has been proven, that when we expect man to do that which he has never done before, man disappoints us every time.
Why are we examining individuals and their personal morality?
It isn't any individual that is our problem it is the whole damn system!!!

Once we realize that we stop having discussion about Obama or Mc Cain or anyone else every four years. Then we Start having discussion and struggling for our own Solutions outside of the Democratic Party, Outside of the Republican Party, Outside of White Power, Outside of Parasitic Capitalism.

We Start looking like we want Self-Determination cuz that is what we need!!!
