If he would have mentioned
white fathers instead of black fathers, the public would have crucified him. He was pandering.
Yes, he did say what needed to be said. And yes, he did give a lame praise of fathers as an after thought. But Obama new the news would pick up on, and run with the negative part of his speech.
And, going with your logic hear, I've compiled a list of other things that NEED to be said by Obama, but for some reason arent:
- Institutionalized racism
- Why America is negotiating with Iraq to build permanent bases in Irag.
- The effect that open immigration has on job availability in America.
- Why Jena Six deserved more attention from black leaders.
- Why Black men are disproportionately incarcerated in the State and Federal prison systems.
- Why America has never accounted for or paid for the atrocities commited against africans during the slave traid. We have paid reperations to just about every country we were at war with.
- Why he 'says' he's against Free Trade, but will not move to reverse NAFTA.
The list goes on, but you get the point.
