I don't get over to SF often these days. I'm over on the Oakland side. The whole bay is changing daily it seems. Construction everywhere, but overall things feel better. Gas is crazy out here though, should hit $5/gal soon.
Crime is still a problem, but you kinda know where to be and where not to be to deal with that.
