Well this is what happens when you give take a Black man out of the hood an hand him millions of dollars. Holyfield seemed to have a bit more maturity than your average "brother" but its still the same. Which is why I cant see myself idolizing any of these pro atheletes that squander so much money, rather than contributing to things that are really substantive. To me thats like helping young black children through school, not simply donating to the UNCF. I get disgusted whenever I turn on the TV and see these rappers, athletes i.e. your Michael Jordan's and Michael Vick's, who our young men idolize and the truth is, these materialistic, narcissistic black men are only concerned about sex, sometimes drugs, and quick money. Not the real issues that face our community. Which is why so many times, you see them(black pro-athletes) married to white women. They're nothing more than boys, thrust into manhood with a big wad of cash, no consciousness. Because of that, I wouldn't want a son of mine living that lifestyle.
