Exactly and I agree. Hence the reason Its shows our lack of knowledge and willingness as well as hastiness in praising something, simply because they are black. We have to understand ALOT of black people in history were not necessarily for US> And that especially includes most MEN that participated in those early years of the military, that are celebrated. Many didn't have a choice in the matter, but usually when they become decorated all of these years later by the Government, I am almost certain there was something in it for them. Case in point! Our brothers going out west, to slaughter the Indigenous peoples, to make that land available for the White Man to fulfill his "Manifest Destiny" akka money, money,money.
