Sooooo....the title of this discussion is "Abortions Need To Be Banned"...and you've decided to dispense of any legal argument - although its a legal matter and base your stance from a purely emotional state....okay. I will personally ban myself from having an abortion. Done.
Now from what I've read, you've yet to provide a sound argument for banning abortions for other women...you've spouted some real good rhetoric, you've ranted rather nicely...even made some talking points that were frighteningly similar to Pat Buchanan...but no actual argument about other women and why you believe you are empowered to make that choice on their behalf, against their will if necessary, and with no regard for their health, physical or mental. You provided a link in your initial post. You provide a link to an organization that is obviously against abortions within the black community specifically. Now, there was a lot of information about why women shouldn't have abortions.... I didn't find one paragraph, a sentence, not even a phrase on assistance to mothers with children out of utero.
This organization that you've so readily embraced that now you're preaching "Abortions Need To Be Banned"...its located in Montclair, NJ. Took all of 5 seconds googling that city to find out that perhaps their energy could be better served at this time assisting the children and teens that are struggling with LIFE right now. I checked just to be sure (wouldn't want to assume) - and no, New Jersey does not have a 0% poverty rate or a 0% juvenile crime rate (violent offenses mind you) or a 100% high school graduation rate. Sadly, it doesnt appear to be a utopia for black children at all.
Perhaps when your friends who are hollering about genocide due to abortion can open up their eyes to the genocide created by a 357 magnum and an angry teen who never had a shot in life, then I'll listen.
