Unhappy Henri Cele [South African actor]

Henri Cele died?

Some of the post that I read in South Africa spoke of the small press concerning the recent death of Henri Cele. He was reported to have died an untimely death on November 2, 2007 as a result of complications to his chest. I also read some post about the viewpoints of some African Americans concerning how he impacted their lives as an actor in his most famous role of Chaka Zulu. I believe the historical account of the leader Chaka Zulu is important and as an actor, Henri Cele, brought out a sense of integrity when he portrayed this man in film. I have read on the history of South Africa, the Zulu Nation and other tribes during the times of Chaka Zulu. I have read about the period of time called ‘the Great Expansion’ which correlates to ‘the Manifest Destiny’ period in American history and how the children of Africa were stolen from one country and sold into slavery in another country in Africa. More and more information about slavery and black people comes to light by and by. As an actor, Henri Cele was one man that opened my eyes to want to know more about Africa. When I think of Africa and beauty, I envision Henri Cele.
