What's your view of "home remedies" as u phrase it? Are u gathering material for a magazine article? A book?

No matter, but do you mind clarifying a bit what u see as a "home remedy."

Anyway I'll tell of something re one of our grandsons from a coupla weeks ago. He was bitten by a mutt dog; teeth sank into one buttock. My wife called of one those vans called an emergency ambulance for the record, after we'd checked the bite. That was for the record, in case my daughter wanted to take it further later on. The ambulance driver recommended grandson be taken to hospital for anti-rabies shot and stitches. I politely told him, no thanks. My grandson's butt was of flesh, not fabric. Didn't want him sewn with a steel needle. And I'm not sold generally on the ingredients of some of today's shots. To the chase: I made a formula of 3 different herbs, crushed and made into a poultice applied and covered it. The next morning two of the bites had disappeared from sight, the 3rd had closed nearly together; no more pain or stinging; swelling reduced; no unusual heat around the area. A slight scar remains, which in time will not be there.

There's much more I could tell of dealing with diseases and other "accidents" at home. No disrespect intended but rather than call what we and many others do home remedies, how about: tradtional Afrikan and other indigenous folk' healing techniques and treatments. Its called Natural "remedies."

The body will "heal" itself if aided properly. In my opinion. What do Christians call our body? A Temple? We like to treat like it is beyond praying and leaving to whoever else. Its my obligation and responsibility.

Hope this helps in what u're seeking.

Thank you
