Its no secret these shops open up in places they think they can exploit a market and turn a profit by peddling vices. But I've been to local ward zoning meetings and liquor license exception meetings with folks trying to keep a liquor store from openning up entirely too close to a public school. And it worked. Simply laying down to get railroaded by a system is hardly a solution. Patronage makes or breaks a business in the end.
