Nyansasem Lecture Series: Atlanta Ga.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Who: Nyansasem Lecture Series

What: One Couple's Story of Love and Nationbuilding

When: Friday, February 4, 2005 (7-9PM)

Where: Mutana Health Cafe (1392 Abernathy - across from Kroger Citi-Center) Southwest Atlanta, Georgia
Phone: (404) 753-5252 ask for Jarvone

Why: In this culture we are taught to celebrate Western "love" and romance, especially in the month of February?

However, Afrikans understand the importance of commitment to family and nationbuilding. As they fought for our rights, Mama Asali and Baba Kabisi Ture of Columbia, South Carolina came together in order to protect Afrikan children, and found love, commitment and blended family in the process. They are indeed a great source of inspiration to both single and married Afrikans who are committed to the liberation of our people.
