Let us do remember that most (if not all) of our people were opting out for (mere) acceptance aka Civil Rights--not clamoring for (black) power--back when there were active movements-- and they among its supporters...

Flasforward, and though times have changed, perhaps those now aging mainstays of the one (which has also been written on elsewhere) feel and think their roles have either not changed, or there's no longer a reason for those old mainstain organizations to exist anymore!

Ditto some of those of the other viewpoints do seem and sound even more defeatist
(as well as do nothing via their usual rhetoric ad naseum)?

In either case:

Methinks the mainstays of both are either out of sync as regards what the colored and black masses are truly concerned and worried about these days (or just out of touch with reality completely)!

So for me to say and write we both new leaders and new ideas and a new agenda etc.
helping us to cope and deal with the issues and problems facing up ala 2008 is a very profound understatement!!

But I just did anyway...

And the rest of you for your wake up calls too!

FYI...

Another one from an ally and a friend of the family...
