That's everywhere, large metro areas or in the rural country areas. The area where I grew up in west Alabama, there are ao many churches with maybe 50members at best, and a whole slew of churches that only meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays or the 2nd and 4th - and the members from one will go to the other church on their off Sundays....its ridiculous....but its a combination of not wanting to change, and for most of those little churches, church is just church, not a conduit for making the community better at large.
