Their true motives are to win. I was there in South Carolina. The Clinton's sold out on the black community the second they realized that we would rally behind Obama. They moved onto the new important minority group, Hispanics. Apparently, we weren't even worth arguing over. Niggas don't vote anyway, right?

I used to like the Clintons a lot. I planned to vote for Hillary. But since South Carolina, I can't help but support Obama. He may have missed the NAACP meeting (supposedly had to campaign somewhere, so whatever. His speech on race was good enough for me. At least he acknowledged our anger), but he didn't ignore us just because we didn't vote for him at first. That's something.

NAFTA didn't drag down our economy, globalization did. NAFTA made it worse. America can't hope to continue it's economic dominance if it doesn't invest in educating a generation of scientists and engineers. As of now, we're a country of executives.

Or we can just...not invest in education. Dropout rates would continue to climb, leaving an uneducated proletariat to do low-wage labor at rates comparable to those in the third world. We can call it being "competitive". Actually, we're in the beginning stages of that. Right now, immigrants are taking up all the work, but it seems like most of them are only doing it for a generation or two. Even the illegals are seeing the values of education, and more and more second generation Hispanics are enrolling in institutions of higher education. They're out-pacing everybody.

Any idea who this uneducated proletariat will be? Us. Yes, it's sad, but it's true. Graduation rates our lowest among us at almost all levels of education. Unless we begin to STRESS education like crazy, we'll be left behind. No government initiative is going to help us. We need to take education back, create our OWN SCHOOLS like the NoI did a generation ago. Those schools out-performed most publics and held their own against most private boarding schools of the day. Our people excelled because they weren't the victims of low expectations.

So here's my no.1 biggest problem: allowing ourselves to indulge in an education system that's created to cater to white/Asian students specifically.
so basically, you are blaming HIllary for the decisions her husband made, and you decide that you are supporting Obama because he made a speech on race, as a maneuver to deflect cricism from a toally unrelated issues.

And it's this kind of reasoning and and lack of thought that plagues black America.
