NET WORTH is more than just bank account. It can be land, mineral resources in the land, buildings on the land, gold , diamonds, intellectual property, etc. etc.
But the business about importance is ego tripping social nonsense. That is not an accounting function.
The point is things like cars depreciate and if planned obsolescence is going on then that amounts to PLANNED DEPRECIATION.
I haven't heard any Black leaders suggesting mandatory accounting for Black kids. Of course you don't hear that from the White people for White kids either. Most people in the system are supposed to be losers.
