This is a great piece. Ben Ammi's words on the importance and effects of music on the mind and spirit were prophetic. Pages 29-33 blew me away... way back when; the above pages still hunt me to this day.
"... Music can determine the mood of a person or a people. After comprehending it's profound effects on the mind, it stands to reason that we must beware, for the effects can be good or evil. Music is like a series of thought waves that cause men to think and do right or wrong, wise things or foolish things..." pp.29
On page 30, the brotha drops pretty much the same High-Science found in Ra Un Nefer Amen's Metu Neter -
" There was a sound with God in the beginning; all things were made by sound, and without sound nothing was made."
Page 31 doesn't let up...
"There was also a special music played when it was time to go to war. God evolved the entire success over evil forces around a sound, as He commanded our fathers to play a certain sound if they were under oppression by their enemies. When this sound was heard, He would hear, strengthen and save..."
I think Black People were given the gift of mastery over sound. It seems in this particular time in human history, we have relinquished our kingship over it (music/sound/vibe).
God the Black Man and Truth is off the hook. Thanks for reminding me how relevant this book is.
