No, I view civil rights as entitlements to human dignity, and I will not confuse the two.
As far as what's to be done: for starters, I'd suggest we stop giving so much credence to the corporate media and perform research using
independent sources in the effort to neutralize the massive spread of misinformation. After becoming properly informed we can make better decisions about the issues that concern us. Once we've achieved that, "progress" will more or less 'take care of itself' in a more equitable and sustainable fashion.
