I guess if you look at it from your perspective, you're dead on. However, as WHO WE ARE, I guess we look at it a bit differently. I can speak for myself in saying that the union of these two people doesn't affect me directly, but I think says a lot about us as a people. Everything is relative. This picture/union makes a statement. And we all have the ability to take of it what we will.

I think as human beings, we observe, judge (as much as we say we don't), cross-reference things against our belief system and morals, and then draw conclusions.

I think that's all that has taken place in this thread.

I DON'T have to feel the RAGE of my ancestors running through my blood as a white man lays on top of me... so you're right, this doesn't affect me.

Do I agree with it? No.
Do they care? Absolutely not.
Was our opinions and feedback requested? Yes.

That's the beauty of AC... one topic, a rainbow of perspectives. Gotta love and respect that.
