Not only did he agree with me, he extended what he was saying to owning the "neighborhood and environment". Which gives me an opportunity to explore further what he means by ownership of those things, how we can build it and etc.
I promise, just because you agree with someone from the outset, doesn't mean that there won't be a time and place where your opinions diverge. I am usually conscious of learning exactly where and why i agree and disagree with people. This is good intellectual exercise, and great for conversation and debate.
And also, i and AfroSaxon have had a few exchanges in other threads such that we agree on a few things . . so i replied to him as such because i knew that he would take it in stride and run with it as a preliminary 'feeling out' of how similar our beliefs are. I wouldn't have done the same with you as this is one of our first exchanges.
