Science and Religion
can, indeed, be compatible... but they are not always interchangeable or in agreement.
Science is based on methodical
inquiry,
research, and
experimentation. Religion (not to be confused with
spirituality) is based on
faith,
revelation, and
prophesy.
Science and Religion both recognize and acknowledge the greater workings of
complex principles, laws, and relationships beyond human control or human understanding. Yet, both Science and Religion have reached differing conclusions about certain
fundamental questions (e.g., Is there a God?).
