I went to the Vice President of our department and discussed it with him. He assured me he would handle it. I'm not sure what he did or how, but things are finally back to normal. She was quite upset with me, and made a few snide comments to me in a round about way. She missed a day of work and when she returned, everything was amicable again. Not sure if it will remain peaceful, but at least I'm not stressed and angered at the moment. So all is well that ends well....That's if it was actually the end.
I agree with the comments about sisters needing to build a network of support for each other. But if one extends an olive branch and the other doesn't receive it, what do you do?
