Me, personally, that used to happen to me in highschool. I did nothing at all; most of the other students were black and it was like 5 whites in the whole school. I was reticent in highschool, but I am not like that now.
But anyways, to answer the question at hand, I would have done what you just did. You were right for saying that! I always do, I have to now that Im in college. It usually perplexes the whites and they turn beat-red

. Plus, I have this fascination with finishing a debate, when I know Im right, with some of the professors.
