She was trying to push YOU to "make it" in life for HER. If she did not want to be "wroking class", then SHE needed to get herself a white collar job. Yall were not married so even if you are about to be "working class", that does not mean she is....and if you were CEO of a fortune 500 company....that would not mean she is "upper class"......it would mean YOU are.
You are in school ....or saving to be, and during that stage of life, you work what ever you have to to get the money if your parents cannot help and you dont want loans. I mean, if you could just be "upper class" right now based on your job....what would you need school for?? But she clearly cannot see this.
This was just another case of a woman who had no desire or forsight to build a life with a man....that means she did not give a damn about you in the first place. She was looking out for #1. :mad:
You are working.....and with that work you are aquiring money to go to school to improve your chances of getting the career you want.....that is the total opposite of shiftless and lazy. I bet you if you were from a rich family, had a crazy inherentence, but did not finish high school or ever work any job, she would never talk about your lack of ambition.....so long as you would be spending on her. :mad:
Anyways.....dont sweat it.....in ending this relationship and any chance of getting more serious, you dodged a very big, hollow point bullit.
