I think I'd give myself a 'C' as well. I'm sure we all do our best as parents, and we hope that the things we learned from our own parents manifest themselves in the parenting of our children, but society has changed so much between then and now. It almost seems as though it's some sort of perpetual game of 'catch-up' in the context of teaching our kids the things we feel are best for them, and my guess is that we won't really know how we're doing until our kids are "grown."
