I don't think that a man or woman should introduce their children to someone they're dating unless it is TOTALLY clear that the relationship is real seriously dating one person or marriage. And even at that point you should tack on several more months so that you can watch the exchange between your children and mate. There are too many situations of abuse, kids coming up hurt or killed plus your kids don't need to be in that kind of environment. You also need to know where the mate's head is at when it comes to kids, disciplining and everything in between. JMO
