What is wrong with wanting to preserve your ethnic bloodline? It is hard to explain the importance of this to a people who lost their culture and ethnic ties through slavery. I'm not trying to sway anyone over to my beleifs anyway. This is how I feel and I can't think of any reason more genuine than wanting to keep what is left our culture and physical attributes alive through homogenity.

I'm not talking about what America's Society does. America's Society has always been backwards and bias but I was talking about the position of typical arguments in interracial dating. There is only one "other" woman that gets prime time and she goes without saying.
As for the rest of it, heritage and culture are much more than just blood. Racial purity does not correlate with either one. As much as I enjoy my connection to the base of the African diaspora, what about the cultural achievements of my people here? I'm more than willing to reconnect to the motherland but not at the cost of countless men and women who did great things here.
Racial homogeneity has proven to consistently be one of the most dangerous mentalities displayed by human beings. There are way more worthwhile and decent ways to preserve us. Besides, the "threat" of interracial dating is way overblown.
To each their own though. Also, I was not knocking you for your beliefs I was just merely stating my mind on the matter.
