I think at this point, after what we've experienced for 8 years, America wants a BRAINIAC--and essentially the sheer opposite of Bush's bad qualities. At all costs. So if this means breaking the status quo of a white president, or a male president, America will do it.

I am of course referring to Obama and Clinton respectively. They both stand out as the truly intelligent candidates. I think that America can do well with either of them, considering how seriously a black or female president would take their job, in that they may feel that they have "something to prove" in the eyes of our society. I think that they would work exceptionally hard because of this, and America will benefit from it.
